The Spring into Fitness Challenge focuses on engaging in daily exercise, ideally outdoors, to celebrate the energy and beauty of spring.

- Recommended Time of Year: Spring season, from March to May
- Program Completion Type: Minimum tokens, 500
- Activity Allowed: Current and all previous phases
Purpose/Benefits of the Sprint into Fitness Challenge
This 3-week challenge is a celebration of Spring and all that it represents: movement, renewed energy, reinvigoration. This challenge is an opportunity to encourage your team to get active, enjoy the outdoors, and enhance their physical well-being as they enjoy and reflect upon the renewal of the Spring season.
Outline of Challenge Phases
Phase 1 (Days 1-7): Kickstart and Energize
Theme: Begin establishing a weekly routine of multiple days of physical activity and prioritize outdoor activity; learn about the particular benefits of exercising and moving around in the outdoors.
Phase Completion Type: All Required Activities
Required
- Exercise on at least 3 days this week for at least 15 minutes each time. (150 tokens)
- Read the article “The Benefits of Outdoor Exercise.” (100 tokens)
Optional
- General: Do an outdoor activity or exercise. (100 tokens)
Phase 2 (Days 8-14): Explore and Diversify
Theme: Begin to build consistency with getting outdoors and logging activity days; this is also a week to try new forms of outdoor activity and exercise.
Phase Completion Type: All Required Activities
Required
- Use the Strength Activity Tracker: Exercise on at least 4 days this week for at least 15 minutes each time. (150 tokens)
Optional
- General: Participate in a local community fitness event. (100 tokens)
- General: Try a new outdoor sport or activity, like exploring a local park or hiking a new trail. (100 tokens)
Phase 3 (Days 15-21): Consistency and Community
Theme: Focus on consistency to create healthy fitness habits and continue enjoying the outdoors with others.
Phase Completion Type: All Required Activities
Required
- Use the Activity Tracker: Exercise on at least 5 days this week for at least 15 minutes each time. (150 tokens)
Optional
- General: Share a favorite outdoor exercise spot with a friend. (100 tokens)
- General: Organize or participate in a local community outdoor fitness event. (100 tokens)
