The Life-Balance Challenge encourages the user to explore what matters most in their life; this challenge illuminates how focus and energy may be better distributed for a happier, more balanced life.

Purpose of the Life-Balance Challenge
This challenge will help the user reprioritize: through various content types and actionable instruction, the user will re-examine how they spend their time and how simple shifts of focus and energy may better serve them in pursuit of happiness.
Benefits of Completing the Challenge
A user who completes this challenge will have greater clarity on what makes them happy and how they can increase their level of wellbeing.
Outline of the Challenge Phases
Phase 1: Where Does the Time Go?
Theme: Through reflection and assessment, the user will better understand how they spend their time and if they would benefit from a change in focus and allocation of resources. The user answers the question, "How am I spending my time and what would I rather be doing?"
Required
- Track your day's primary focus at least 4 times in the week: 200 tokens
- Read the article "6 Dimensions of Wellness: Assessing Where You Spend Your Time": 150 tokens
- Complete the flow "Reflection on Time Management": 150 tokens
Optional
- Complete the flow "Wellness Vision for Life Balance": 20 tokens
Phase 2: Seize the Day
Theme: This phase focuses on setting clear goals to accomplish something that is important in the user's life. The question, "What is one area of life I'd like to devote more attention to?" is answered.
Required
- Track your day's primary focus at least 4 times in the week: 200 tokens
- Read the article "Creating a SMART Goal: Dimensions of Wellness": 150 tokens
- Create a SMART goal that focuses on a dimension of wellness
Optional
- Complete the flow "Creating a SMART Goal for Dimensions of Wellness": 20 tokens
Phase 3: Setting Clear Boundaries and Making Time for Yourself
Theme: This phase is about setting time aside to work towards the goals that matter most in life. In this phase, the user will make their wellness goal a priority.
Required
- Track your day's primary focus at least 4 times in the week: 200 tokens
- Read the article "Setting Healthy Boundaries": 150 tokens
Optional
- Create a SMART goal related to setting boundaries: What will you say NO to?: 20 tokens
- Read the article "Self-Efficacy: Time Management": 20 tokens
Phase 4: Reflect and Recalibrate
Theme: In this final phase, the user reflects on accomplishments and determines what more, if any, changes they may benefit from as they continue to balance their life.
Required
- Track your day's primary focus at least 4 times in the week: 200 tokens
- Make note of a challenge or obstacle you faced and make a plan to overcome it: 150 tokens
