The Power of Positive Thinking Challenge brings users through a 21-day process of understanding the power of self-talk and mindset and how it impacts emotional wellbeing and overall quality of life. This challenge is geared towards people who want to enhance and gain greater control over their mental and emotional.
Duration of Challenge: 3 phases/3 weeks- Participation Type: Individual
Purpose of the Positive Thinking Challenge
Through various content types and actionable instruction—including articles, fun “Myth or Fact” quiz flows, and action to-do’s—the user will gain the tools and techniques to improve their internal dialogue (self-talk) through practicing positive affirmations, self-reflection, and the correction of negative self-talk patterns.
Benefits of Completing the Challenge
Users who complete this challenge will recognize their own personal patterns of negative self-talk which may be inhibiting them in life or preventing them from reaching their full potential. As the user recognizes their own negative thoughts and thought patterns, they can begin replacing them with positive, optimistic, and empowering thoughts and thought patterns.
Outline of the Challenge Phases
Phase 1: Understanding Our Self-Talk
Theme: Self-talk is something everyone does, but many of us are often unaware of what we're saying to ourselves and how it's affecting our mood, motivation, and experience in daily life. Let's define what self-talk is, why it's so important, and how to begin to challenge any negative thoughts we may be having.
Required
- Track your practicing of self-talk for at least 4 days of the week: 200 tokens

Phase 2: Reframing Your Self-Talk
Theme: In phase 1, we learned exactly what self-talk is. In this phase, we'll discover specific techniques to use to replace negative self-talk when we notice it creeping up. We'll also discuss the power of positive affirmations and craft our own, personal ones to repeat regularly.
