Member Dashboard: Course Activity

Modified on Fri, 17 May 2024 at 01:09 PM

This article is about the Member Course tool in the Customer Service section. This module can be viewed and used, to varying levels of access, by admins with the Customer Support Rep and Customer Support Manager roles.

You can get to this tool by going to the Customer Service section by looking up a member and selecting the "Courses" button on the top menu bar:

Three Main Sections in the Course Tool

The "Course activity" tile shows:

  • The course(s) that are available to the member; you can view the member's activity within each available course by choosing them from the dropdown. Choosing a course here updates the two sections on this page to reflect data related to that course.
  • The member's current place in the course and the start date; you can see the sessions that have been completed and the sessions left to complete,
  • The earliest possible completion date (this is the date the member is projected to complete the course if they take the remaining sessions on the availability date). You can also see the course expiration date.

This tile also enables you to edit the member's course filter. To learn more about setting course filters, see this article.

The "About the course" tile shows:

  1. A short descriptive summary of the course.
  2. Course properties, which outline the number of sessions in the course, the estimated time to complete the course, and the estimated weekly commitment to complete the course.

The "Session details" table shows:

This table displays the member's experience within the course on a per-session basis:

  1. The session: If the session has not been started, it is listed as gray.
  2. Current Segment: The segment within the session the member has progressed to. Members can leave a session without finishing and, when they return, they will pick up where they left.
  3. Date available: The date that the member can take the session.
  4. Date Scheduled: The date the member has scheduled the session to take.
  5. Time Started: The date the member began the session.
  6. Time Completed: The date the member completed the session.

The "I want to..." Tile

This tile allows admins with the CS Manager role to reset a course, revert to the start of the previous session, unlock the next session, or fast-forward or to a specific segment within a course that has already been started.
