Connecting Samsung Health with Engagement Rx

While Engagement Rx doesn't directly support Samsung Health, you can still establish a smooth data-sharing connection between Samsung Health and Health Connect and then Health Connect and Engagement Rx.

How to Connect Samsung Health and Google Fit

If you wish to establish a connection between your Samsung Health and Google Fit apps with ease, you can use the Health Connect app, which simplifies the linking process. Below are the step-by-step instructions to link these two apps. In case you have issues with the first method, we've also provided an alternative approach for your convenience with method 2.

Method 1: Using Health Connect App

1. 
   Download Health Connect: Begin by downloading the Health Connect app from the Google Play Store and install it on your device.


2. 
   Open Health Connect: Once the installation is complete, open the Health Connect app to get started.


3. 
   App Permissions: Access the "App permissions" section within Health Connect.


4. 
   Select Samsung Health: Locate Samsung Health from the list of apps and choose the specific data permissions you want to grant to Health Connect for writing purposes.


5. 
   Select Google Fit: Similarly, find Google Fit from the app list and specify the data permissions you wish to allow Health Connect to read.

Method 2: Alternative Approach

Should you encounter any difficulties with the first method, don't worry, we have an alternative solution that may take a bit longer but is very effective.

1. 
   Open Samsung Health: Launch the Samsung Health app on your device.


2. 
   Access Settings: Tap the three-dot menu icon in the main menu, then select "Settings."


3. 
   Health Connect: Within the settings, locate the "Health Connect" option and select it.


4. 
   Data Permissions: Review the data permissions that have been granted to Samsung Health. Make sure that the relevant permissions are enabled, and if not, activate them accordingly.

   Allow Access: Confirm the data permissions by tapping "Allow" to grant Health Connect the necessary access.

   Open Google Fit: Now, open the Google Fit app on your device.

   Go to Profile: Tap on the Profile tab located in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

   Access Settings: Look for the Settings icon, typically located at the top-right of the screen, and tap on it.

   Sync with Health Connect: Enable the "Sync Fit with Health Connect" toggle.

    Set Up: Proceed to the next step by tapping "Set up."
