When a member is moved from one portal to another in Engagement Rx, there are key changes that impact both the member's experience and the way their data is managed by admins and coaches. This article explains what carries over and what does not during the transition.
Member Experience After Moving Portals (from the member's perspective)
Dashboard and Menu Options
- These update to reflect the content and configuration of the new portal.
Course Progress
- System-Level Courses: Progress remains intact, provided the course is also available in the new portal.
- Portal-Level Courses: These do not carry over to the new portal.
Admin and Coach View of Member Profiles
When viewing a member's profile after a portal move, some data is retained while other portal-specific details are removed.
Assessment Responses
- Assessments are portal-specific and will be removed from the member's profile upon moving.
Automations
- System-Level Automations: These remain on the member’s profile, retaining their state (e.g., in-progress automations stay in progress).
- Portal-Level Automations: These are removed from the member’s automation tab after the move.
V2 Flow Responses
- Responses to portal-level V2 flows are removed from the member's flow tab.
Courses
- Calendar-Based Courses: Information carries over if the course is enabled in the new portal.
- System-Level Micro-Courses: These retain their progress and carry over if enabled in the new portal.
- Portal-Level Micro-Courses: These do not carry over to the new portal.
Goals and Notes
- Member Goals: All existing goals carry over to the new portal.
- Member Notes: Notes remain intact after the move.
To-Do Items
- General To-Dos: These carry over to the member's to-do tab.
- System Content To-Dos: These remain visible if they are linked to system-level content.
- Portal Content To-Dos: These are removed after the move.
- Flow To-Dos: To-dos linked to portal-level flows are also removed.
Trackers
- System-Level Trackers: Information carries over if the tracker is enabled in the new portal.
- Portal-Level Trackers: These are removed from the member's profile.
Programs
- Auto-Pilot Challenges: These remain visible in the member’s challenge tab if enabled in the new portal.
- Portal-Level Challenges, Group Programs, and Programs: These are portal-specific and will be removed after the move.

- Confirm that all necessary system-level content is enabled in the destination portal.
- Inform members about potential changes in their experience, such as the loss of portal-specific content.
- Review and adjust member profiles after the move to align them with the new portal’s setup.
