Field transformation translates old data formats into the formats used in our system. Currently, this only applies to Gender.
Our system accepts the following input for the Gender field:
- Male
- Female
- TransMale
- TransFemale
- GenderQueer
- NonBinary
Formerly, Gender data only included:
- m/M
- f/F
Some clients and companies still use this old format which we refer to as “Gender Legacy.” For files that still use this data type for gender, you can alert our system when field mapping by selecting “Legacy Gender Transformation” in the Data Transformation field. When you do this, our system will automatically translate the old data type into the current type:
