Courses Started/Completed Reports

Modified on Fri, May 17 at 9:25 AM

This article is about using the reports tool for courses started and courses completed by members.

You can set these reports to filter for a specific range of time, portal, group, and course. In terms of setting report parameters, each one uses the same process. In the example below, we are using the Course Starts report:

  1. Choose between "This" and "Last" in this field: choosing "This" allows you to see data for the current day, week, month, or year; choosing "Last" allows you to choose a range of time spanning back.

  2. If you have the first step set as "This," you can choose day, week, month, or year (for day, month and year, you can choose calendar or standard. If the first field is set to "Last," you can set the number that will apply to the range you set in the next step.

    • Note that you can choose between standard and (Calendar) for weeks, months, and years. The standard option shows the span of time from the date you are running the report; the Calendar option shows the full unit of time as it would on a calendar, meaning a choice of "2 Calendar months" will show the entire 2 calendar months preceding the date you're running the report.)

  3. If step one is set to "Last," then you choose between days, weeks, and months in this field. In the image, you can see that this report will be run for the last 30 days.

  4. Choose the portal you want to run the report for.

  5. Choose the group you want to run the report for.

  6. Choose the course you want to see starts for or select All.

  7. After clicking GO, data will populate for the time range you selected.

  8. Here you can see the data in table form.
