The member dashboard is, generally speaking, the first place members land when logging into the portals site. This page functions as a home base for members, from which they can navigate to courses, features, and tools related to their health and lifestyle goals.
The main focus of this page is related directly to the member's most recent activity; the course the member has most recently been active in will be represented in the main tile on the page and, beneath this section, there is listed up to six of the most relevant recommendations for the member. Recommendations include tools and features they can access and content they can review. To learn more about how the tile-selection system works, see this article.
Different Sections of the Dashboard
If the member has just begun in the system, the dashboard is a simple display urging them to get started with a course or with content. At the very top of the dashboard there are navigational menus linking to all courses and features available within the member portal; there is also a language selector, a notification bell, and a link to the member profile (which contains the member's notification settings, any of their linked devices, and other personal information including name, email address, timezone, and birthday).
As the member progresses through courses and/or interacts with the system and coaches, more categories of tiles populate the homepage. In the image below, the member's homepage consists of the action tile, their assigned to-do list, their wellness vision, their goals, and a messaging tile:
