To save challenge administrators time and effort, Challenge templates are prepopulated with default email text to provide information and/or encouragement to the user when they've triggered certain progression-related events:
- Registration for a Challenge is completed
- Ending of a Phase
- Ending of Challenge
- Challenge is Starting in 3 Days
- A New Phase is Starting
- Current Phase is Ending in 3 Days (this is sent to users who have not completed the activities in a phase when there are 3 days left until the next phase)
- Challenge will be Archived in 1 Day (to remind them to review the Challenge in their portal if they want, before it disappears)
To review and edit default messaging for events, choose the Challenge from your portal listing (or, if you haven't published the Challenge for the portal yet, select CREATE from the Challenge tool and choose the template from the listing). Once you are in the Challenge editor, click on the Events option from the menu on the left:
To review the default message, click the pencil icon. Then, in the next screen, click on the "Send Email" tile and review the text in the editor box to the right:
