Enabling a System Page Template

Modified on Wed, Jul 10 at 11:21 AM

There are 5 system page templates that come premade in Engagement Rx that you can set for use quickly and with little effort:

  • Healthy Weight Self-Guided contains individual member components (wellness vision, goal and to-do lists, and the weight tracker), weight management courses, and content related to weight management.
  • Physical Activity Self-Guided contains individual member components, a physical activity course, and content related to exercise.
  • Sleep Self-Guided contains individual member components (including the sleep tracker), the sleep course, and content related to sleep.
  • Social Support Self-Guided contains individual member components and content related to the importance of establishing strong bonds with others.
  • Stress Management Self-Guided contains individual member components, multiple stress management courses, and content related to managing stress.

Note: There are also 2 blank page templates you can choose to create a new page from scratch:

  1. Blank Member Pages should be used when you intend the page to be exclusively for portal members who are logged in.
  2. Blank Public Pages do not require authentication for someone to view, meaning pages made from this template can be sent to anyone, regardless of their login status or if they are a member of a portal.

To learn how to create custom pages from the blank templates, see this article.

Enabling a System Page Template

First, go to the Page Builder tool:

  • In the admin website, go to the Settings section.
  • Enter the Portal Management module.
  • Choose the portal you want to manage.
  • Click on the “Page Builder” option in the CONTENT section on the left-side menu:

To enable a template for use, click on the CREATE button above the Page Manager table.

Now you can see the page template catalog with the system templates listed. The first two listings in the catalog are blank templates, meaning you can create pages from scratch with no prepopulated sections or components. All the other templates already contain elements that support a theme or topic. You can read a summary of the page's topic in the tile.

To enable a template for use (and to review and edit it if you choose), click on the tile on the left part of the screen, then click on the START FROM TEMPLATE button on the right:

You can now view and edit the Page template. To set the Page as enabled for your portal, click the Save Draft button followed by the Publish button in the upper right corner:
