A flow is a series of components that can be organized to deliver an experience to your participants or members. Components include many content types, from basic text and images to various types of questions, surveys, or pieces of content from the content library. When you piece together different components, you create a flow. Flows can also include special components for scheduling coaching meetings and redirecting the member to a specific landing point (like a tracker or the member dashboard).
What are flows used for?
Flows are used throughout the Engagement Rx system and have various uses and means of delivery. For instance, Engagement Rx microlearning courses are made of individual flows that the member takes in a pre-arranged order so their learning experience is cumulative and natural. Flows can be used in automations, in to-do’s, and in messages to members. Flows can be used to schedule coaching meetings, to gather information from a member, and to deliver content and information.
There are pre-existing flows already populated in your portal; these are called system flows. Some system flows are templates, which are premade flows that can help you achieve a specific business or member-related goal. To read about templates, see this article.
